A Wayside B & B is about 40 miles north of Anchorage. Drive north on the Glenn Highway (Alaska 1) towards Palmer/Wasilla. As you near Palmer, you will continue northwest on the Parks Highway (Alaska 3) and will be entering the Wasilla area. Drive through 4 traffic lights and turn north (right) on Lucille (3rd street after last light at Main Street). Take Lucille to the end (2.9 miles) and turn left on Schrock Road. You will be on Schrock Rd exactly 1.4 miles and come to a slight hill, at the top of the hill is Heather Way. Turn right and proceed to the 6th house on the left – 541 E Heather Way. (At dark you can also look for the red light blinking tower.) Your hosts, Jean and Barry Hamilton and Buddy, the yellow lab, will be on hand to welcome you.
